Meet our pastor

Pastor Gerum Asfaw was born in 1983 and was raised in Ethiopia. He came to Winnipeg in the fall of 2001 together with his family. Although he was raised in a christian family, the gospel didn't become personal to him until age 13. That's when he decided to give his life to Christ and to serve him wholly. He's been in ministry since that age. Pastor Gerum, also known as P.G among the church family, is passionate about two things: His wife and daughter, and seeing a generation growing to love and serve God.

P.G became a full-time youth and young adult's pastor in 2012. And in May of 2016 He, under the leadership of Living Gospel Church, planted Generations For Christ Church with the vision to reach the inner city community of Winnipeg and share the good news.

Today Pastor Gerum serves as the lead pastor of Generations For Christ Church. He has devoted his ways to raise a generation of active believers in Jesus Christ.
